Since 1997, the Triskela Harp Trio – Diana Stork, Shawna Spiteri, and Portia Diwa – has played an eclectic repertoire of traditional Celtic, world music and original compositions  This broad range of music is performed on three hand-made harps accompanied by three-part vocals, flute, Irish whistle and drum.  Triskela actively performs throughout the Bay Area at venues such as St. Mary’s Cathedral and Grace Cathedral in San Francisco, the Festival of Harps at the Dorothy Spreckels Performing Arts Center in Rohnert Park, the SF Celtic Music Festival and even in San Francisco’s City Hall. Their debut CD, Voice of Tara, has been featured on folk radio music programs at local stations KALW, KPOO and KPFA. In 2008, their recording of Diana Stork’s uplifting piece “Wedding Bells” was selected for the feature documentary “Reclaiming the Blade” (narrated by John Rhys-Davies) and will be part of the film soundtrack on the Lakeshore Records label.

Named after the triskele – an ancient Celtic symbol consisting of three interlocking spirals – Diana, Portia and Shawna weave harp music and spirit, using the beauty of music to bring harmony to the world.
